Manual Osteopathy

What is Manual Osteopathy?

Manual Osteopathy is a non-invasive, gentle, manual therapy that focuses on the entire body to treat and strengthen movement restrictions related to the musculoskeletal framework, internal organs and the systems with the body itself (e.g respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, nervous etc) Due to the holistic approach manual osteopaths can also educate and coach patients on lifestyle changes including but not limited to dietary changes and therapeutic/home exercises. Manual osteopaths have a profound understanding of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics that allows them to assess and create treatment programs suitable for each patients individual needs. Manual osteopathic therapy aims to guide the body and help realign structures back to normal. Some of the major benefits include increased mobility, motility, blood flow and overall quality of life by decreasing pain and realigning the body to a place of balance.
