Elissa Darling
Registered Massage Therapist – Pediatric Massage Therapist
Elissa graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College with a diploma in massage therapy in 2011. She became a Massage therapist because of her passion for helping others, science, and athletics. Elissa has expanded her skills by certifying in pediatric massage, pediatric oncology massage, cupping therapy, dynamic taping, and training through Kerry’s Place autism services. In her spare time she also teaches infant massage with the Mommy Connections group.
Elissa has a background of knowledge from working alongside other practitioners at a rehabilitation sports clinic which provided her tools to help heal the body and aide pain with her patients. After meeting and studying with the founder of the Liddle Kidz Foundation (Tina Allen), Elissa centralized her focus into the health studies of pediatrics. She also worked as an Ambassador for the Liddle Kidz Foundation in India for a month providing treatment in various settings and cities.
Elissa’s ability to connect with young patients is incredible; she makes the experience fun and connects to each child’s needs and interests. Elissa’s treatments are completely child guided and personalized to the needs of the patient.
When Elissa is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time adventuring in nature, primitive camping, and travelling.
